Raffles at prize parties

There will be gun raffles, bow raffles, a youth raffle and a specialty gun raffle at the Big Buck Pole prize parties....bring some money and for a chance to be a winner ....come on out and have some fun....the prize party dates are listed on the site....proceeds benefit various non-profit organizations.....Tim
weird dnr law

I am just curious if this bothers anyone else. The dnr has a law stating that it is illegal to use any "cocking" device to hold back your "bowstring" on archery equimpent. In my mind, this would make crossbows illegal. I am not against crossbows i guess(for people who can't shoot a real bow) but it seems un fair to me that a guy who wants to use a compound but has an injury isn't allowed to use a draw loc type device but yet he/she is forced to get a crossbow if they still want to "bow" hunt .
Multiple Entries For the Same Buck?

I've been noticing that some people are entering their buck at multiple locations, how many times are we allowed to enter the same buck in the Big Buck Pole? Also if we are only permitted to enter a buck once then how are you going to determine which score to keep on the bucks that have been entered 2 or more times, some of these bucks are varying up to 3 points depending on where they were scored.

I guess I don't really know every rule but when did the DNR start letting us tag 3 bucks a year? Case in point -> April Dirla.

As for the 15 to 30 of Nov. have no hunting at all so they can breed in peace. then only get one buck tag for the whole season bow,gun and muzzleloader. Its obvious the DNR cares more about money then anything else. why dont we copy the way Illinois manages deer it obvious their way works . I passed up atleast 20 bucks this yr. ranging from a 3.5 ten pt. to a spike . Only to find out 12 of were killed that i know of.
